How We Work Together

Start with a free 20-minute call. No forms, no commitment. Just a first conversation.

Psychological counselling built on a biopsychosocial framework: your mind, your body, and the environment you are living in, considered together. Sessions run in English and French, in person in Luxembourg or online.

Everyone starts differently. Some come with a specific question. Others arrive feeling off and unsure why. The introductory call is where we work out which kind of support fits.

Digital Wellbeing & Sleep

Listed under Sleep and Time as well, because the phone problem and the sleep problem are usually the same problem approached from different ends. If your attention collapses in the afternoon and your evenings disappear into a screen, start here.

Couples counselling

For two people in a relationship that still has something in it. The usual presentations: the same argument on a loop, a drift neither of you can date, closeness that quietly stopped, or one person carrying more than they ever agreed to.

Both partners attend. I work with the pattern between you rather than deciding who is right — which is what most couples arrive wanting, and the one thing that never helps.

Session length and fee: couples sessions usually run 60–90 min at a higher rate than individual.

Teenagers & young adults

For sleep that has inverted, attention that has fragmented, exam pressure, school avoidance, and the particular weight of growing up with an audience. Sessions are with the young person. Parents are briefed at the outset and at agreed points, and both sides are told in advance exactly what will and will not be passed on. That clarity is what makes the sessions worth attending rather than merely attended.

Ages: 14+ · standard fee · consent and confidentiality rules for minors under Luxembourg law.

Burnout & return to work

For people who are still going to work and should not be, and for people who have stopped and cannot see how to start again. Two phases, handled differently. Before: protecting the function you have left, and building an honest case for stopping if stopping is what is needed. After: a graded return that does not simply reinstate the conditions that caused it, which is what happens by default when a return is planned by a calendar rather than a person.

Coordinated with your GP and occupational health wherever you want that.

I do not issue medical certificates and cannot certify you unfit for work. That is your doctor.

These are private counselling services, provided by a licensed clinical psychologist. They are not psychotherapy in the sense of the Luxembourg psychotherapist authorisation.

Where I see severe depression, active trauma, psychosis, high suicide risk or complex personality difficulties, I will refer you to a psychiatrist or an authorised psychotherapist, and support that transition.

Sessions are not reimbursed by the CNS or by Luxembourg health insurance funds. An invoice for a private insurer is available on request.
